TR4/4A TR4A wheel cylinder install

Is there a certain way to install the retaining clips. I'm having a helluva time trying to do this. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Just finished doing a TR4 system and that Buckeye site is a great reminder of how to mount those clips. Cheers, Mike

If you use a small smear of anti seize on each side of the wheel cylinder hole, before installing, your movement through out the life of the shoes will be much improved. They move around a lot, especially if you use your hand brake. I was looking to change them for a double piston MGB GT rear wheel cylinder, but they do a good job as is, so I didn't weld up the hole and drill out for the GT.

Always (over) thinking, Wayne
