Scott, you are right, wasn't thinking about the fender beading. You do have to loosen the fender fasteners to get the beading out. That can be a big job. I'd suggest putting car on lift, remove all wheels and have at it. The beading tabs will have to be straightened (duckbill pliers work well) before pulling out. Believe I would put 2" masking tape down on each side of beading before pulling beading to protect paint.
