TR4/4A TR4A Front Valances - How do they fit?

I'm repairing a '65 TR4A and am to the point where I need to put the front valances back on. The top valance is straight where it should fasten to the lower valance, but the lower valance has a bit of a curve to it. Should I bend the bottom of the top valance to match the bottom valance, or straighten the bottom valance to match the top? The curve could very well be the result of banging out some big dents, causing the metal to stretch. If someone could just sight across the joint on a proper TR4, you could tell pretty quick. Thanks.

a bit hard too see on an assembled car -- but I think your lower valance is correct. that metal has a bow and the forward edge follows the shape of the top rear edge of the bumper [once there is a bumper].

These should help. My car is currently torn down and has never been hit.
