TR4/4A TR4A Front and Rear Shock Part Numbers

Does anyone have a part number for the front shocks? I see them all the time on eBay and in the catalogs but only with the supplier’s part number not the manufactures number. I also have the rear tube shock conversion and would like the PN for those as well. Not looking for Koni's. I am guessing that there is nothing special and that there is some comon car out there that used the same parts.
Thanks Mark

Hi,

The Triumph part number for the original front shocks is #139703. Not sure if that helps, but you can probably find a manufacturer's website for most brands of shocks (Spax, KYB, Koni, etc.) and look up their fitment for TR4A. I think the originals were Armstrong tube shocks.

I can't advise about your rear shocks. Perhaps the supplier of the tube conversion can tell you what to use. I know some of the conversions use a Spax shock. It's probably a widely used shock.
