TR4/4A Tr4a Fan Pulley

Hi
I thought I had just thrown a fan belt but upon further inspection my problem is much worse. The back portion of the pulley is shredded and I have looked at the big three and this part is not available. Has anbody ran into this and what are my options? Any help would be appreciated.

If its the bottom pulley, check Roadster Factory again - they at least list part number 110023 which is the rear half. Plenty of used ones out there too I think if you can't find new.

Did they explain why it is shown as "current" in their database? That should mean that they carry it (although they might be out of stock at the moment). If you did not ask by part number, I'd suggest calling them again. Sometimes the people who answer the phone don't look up parts correctly.

Only alternatives I know of are a used one; or a "narrow belt" conversion. The conversions are apt to be more than you really want to spend ...

PS, Revington also has the original rear half listed as available.

40+ years of a stiff fat belt rubbing on a piece of stamped sheet metal.

I would take a serious look at the front half of the pulley also.
 
I would say that pretty much sums it up. 40 + years of wear and tear.
I did not call them but did order the front and back halves online. I figured I might as well replace both while I am at it. It did not come up as back ordered so we will see when my order arrives.

Just because it show current,don't mean squat. You'll find out when you don't have the part 4 weeks from now with no word.
