TR4/4A TR4 Suspension Safety Issue?

I'm having a little difficulty believing that the lower fulcrum bracket of the TR4 suspension, the one that holds the wishbone arms, is held only by one single bolt. I know the TR6s went to two (or think they did), but it seems to me that one lose bolt on a TR4 could be mean major problems. Does this bother anyone else?

It's common to either add the second bolt or obtain TR6 lower mounts. Most later frames already have the second holes drilled.

I noticed the same exact thing yesterday when I was disassembling the front end.
Mine were on very tightly though and they are nyloc bolts. From what I understand, most of the force exerted on the front suspension is on the upper A arm where they have castle nuts with cotters installed. Good idea on the second bolt though, I'm going to do that when it all goes back together.

If I understand this thread correctly, I think you are talking about the 4A suspension, which is weak with one bolt holding the lower brackets. The TR4 suspension is different (its the same as the TR3).
