TR4/4A TR4 Steering Rack?

My project came to a stop this summer when I found a had the wrong steering rack. A call to TRF gave me hope when they told me that the had an early TR4 rack that just needed rebuilding. Well, that was 5 months ago. I called on Friday and found out that they haven't even started the rebuild as I guess they lost their mechanic.

If any one knows where I can get a good rack, I'm all ears /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
 
Some time ago there was a post about whether a 4A rack could be made to fit. I know they bolt up differently. I guess that's out of the question?
 
RevingtonTR has the early racks at least listed if you can handle the hit on the pocketbook.
