Hi All, I know this subject has been talked to death, but I need the number of the AC spark plug for the TR3 and 4. I've tried search with no results. I'm at work and want to get a set on my way home.

I have had very good results with the BOSCH Super 4 WR 78 G.
The plug has 4 electrodes.

Hi Mike:

I`m a Sales Mgr for "NGK SPARK PLUGS" (Not being Prejudice): Bosch & NGK are quite Popular with the TR Applications: If It`s a "General Use" type of Appl. Your after; You may want to try "NGK BPR6ES": They cost considerably Less than the "Platinum" Versions and Perform Extremely Well in a "General Every Day Usage" Application:

Have Fun Experimenting;

Russ
PS: Gap is to be .025: No need to gap "Platinums":

I've run Bosch, AC, Champion, Autolite and NGK. Haven't run the latest four terminal Bosches, so no advice there.
But for the cost I recommend the NGK. [censored] near indestructible, A lot less susceptible to fuel additive fouling(AC's notorious for that) and not that expensive.

Per my book, the correct NGKs' for Tr3/Tr4 applications are BP6HS or BPR6HS (resistor) I think the BPR6ES is the wrong reach. Also good are the Champion L87Y or the L87YC (copper core).
/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif I have used the Bosch WR7BP (platinum) but I'm not sold on them. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
