TR4/4A TR4 on utube

For those who are not aware, Christian is a frequent lister on this and other TR boards. He goes under the name "Mad Marx" on this board. He is also a member of FOT - "Friends of Triumph".

Christian - I felt I was sitting in the back seat of your TR4. BTW, I noticed that as you passed the other car and for the next few curves, you were really squealing your tires more aggressively than you were before he passed you and just after that, did you actually touch two wheels on the grass ?

What kind of car was the other one ? Right hand drive - must have been British.

I love your crash helmet and your driving gloves. Is this the same red TR4 that you race ? How do you explain the full windscreen ?

To answer your questions:
2nd right corner after overtaking the car my left wheels were very close to the gravel. I was driving on the curbs edge...
I pushed hard to get away from that race car.

The race car is a prototype from England with a small cosworth engine..1.6L and something about 120-160 HP. Weight is 480 kg.

The videos before year 2004 are out of my pre race era. It was a trackday on the Nordschleife and I drove my standard TR 4 which I've warmed up a little for racing in year 2004...
