Hi guys,

Just having a side discussion with another TR owner and he sent me photos of a TR4 with the fuel line running up and over the front air filter to the rear carb. I don't think I have seen this before or maybe I have just not noticed it if this is indeed correct. Can you enlighten me please.

Cheers
Tush

It should work that way but I doubt it is correct/original.

Indeed, I flip the fuel line into that position when pulling the head with the carbs in situ - it keeps the rubber lines plugged and is out of the way as the intake is drawn against the wing.

I looked in my TR4 owners' manual but it only shows ZS carbs.

The cutaway view on page 1-102 of the TR4 workshop manual shows the H6 carbs, and the line running under the front air filter (as it does on later TR3/A/B with H6 carbs).

So, I wonder how many people following Williams book have it installed that way ?
