For Sale TR4 Detroit Locker Differential $1,000

I have finally pulled and replaced my differential with a LSD and my Detroit Locker and it is now formally available. This came in my TR4 race car from RMVR. I raced four events last year, without issue. I don't know the total history of the car (and its components), but it was said to have raced in Southern California prior to starting in RMVR in 1991. The car was professionally re-prepared outside Denver.

I have used this forum to try to learn as much as possible, before making this post.

I had no idea what this is worth, so I requested help from several on this site, both of whom are much respected. One TR4 race driver, with a significant family racing history, stated to me: "... $1000 is what I'd consider to be a fair price for the locker. They are rare as hens teeth, hard to come by..."

The crown ring shown in the photos has since been removed and is not included. image1.JPGimage2.JPGimage3.JPGimage4.JPG

At the time of removal, I was running a 4.10 because I had an OD transmission. I purchased it with a 4.55, but have since changed to a 3.7 with my new transmission.
