TR4/4A TR4 Dash Support

A friend with a TR4 showed me this trick for making that hard metal dash support more comfortable on long drives. As TR4 drivers know, your right leg rests against the support which is unpadded and even gets a bit hot (just to complete the discomfort).

Here it is with a velcro seat belt pad (Checker Auto, et al) wrapped around it:

Much more comfortable & (as they say on eBay) 'An easy fix!'.
