I had thought I pretty much knew all the British cars in the area but today at a red light a very nice green TR4 cruised past me. Wire wheels, chrome looked great. By the time I got my 8 through the light he was gone (I might have been able to catch him  ) Always that closet LBC colllector you never knew about in your nighborhood. Wish he had stopped so I could look the 4 over

Those older TR's always snub us Wedge guys.

It's like we carry the plague

Yea...well...maybe...but

I was heading to a car show and passed a group of club members on the way to our meeting point. TR3's & an MGB with tops removed banging down the high way at 60 MPH and getting wind blown and sweaty.

I, on the other hand, had the top up, radio on, A/C running and went by at 75.

So who snubs who really?

How's the hunt for a wind blown and sweaty TR3 going Randy? If you get one, you will have to snub yourself

Oh...don't get me wrong, I want to live in a TR3 too. Being on both sides of the argument makes life a lot easier.

I am just saying that a TR8 is indeed a far more modern car and may get looked down upon at times from the Triumph purist....and if I am going to take the flack, I might as well raise the roof, pop on the A/C and crank the radio as I cruise the freeway in 5th gear

Now, where was that cruise control button anyway

Why raise the roof. Keep the top down with the A/C on.
And that cruise control is something I will best be doing
