Last winter I bought a TR6 O/D gearbox to convert the car to O/D and I started to overhaul it, but other priorities took over. I intend to finish the job this winter and install it. While the box is out I will replace the clutch assembly. As TRF is running a clutch special, now is probably the time to stock up on parts.
I understand that the 4 clutch is more robust than the 4A and later, so should I stick with that or upgrade to a later version? I have a spare flywheel that I believe is from a 4A.
I am a bit confused given all the different options available.
