TR4/4A TR4 and TR4A Hardtops

They will fit but the windscreen clamps are different. You could install ones from a TR4a that can be fitted to both the 4 and 4a w/s frame.

When you use the term "hard top" what are you referring to? Are you referring to the original hardtop that we now call a Surrey Top or an aftermarket product?
Charley

I'm referring to an aftermarket hardtop not the Surrey top. I was thinking of selling the hardtop that is on a TR4A that I will be selling next year(bad rear frame extensions, needs floors, inner and outer sills, lower A&B posts otherwise complete I have no welding skills...engine will be running and gearbox shifting by sale time) I digress. The hardtop has the 7"x10" side windows. Might be a Snugtop??? I read somewhere that this top might fit a TR6?

FWIW the TR6 hardtop will even fit on a TR4A and even compliments the body lines (my opinion).

A used Snugtop in good condition is only worth $400/600 at best. It can be made to fit a TR6 as well. It will need the chrome "knobs" from a 4a for the windshield frame or have two swinging bolts that go thru the w/s frame to wing nuts.
