My post 60k TR3 body could use better doors than the ones that came with this project car.
Are the later doors different from earlier doors, and if so how can I idenify the correct doors.
Thanks
Tom

With the upholstery panel off, it's very obvious. Post TS60000 doors are all steel (save perhaps for wood blocks used to anchor the screws holding the side curtain brackets). The earlier doors have a prominent wood top piece that is more or less a structural piece.

Yes, there are earlier doors. They are on the pre-60K cars. The later doors have rounded inside corners at the bottom, whereas the earlier doors are squared off. Also, there is a strip of wood in the earlier doors at the top that was used to screw on the side curtain brackets. The later ones just screwed into small wood blocks. There are other differences, but those two are easy to spot.

Thnaks Andrew and Art.
Looks I have the right doors, useable, but a little rough. Now I know what I am loking for.
Interesting about the wood.My project came with a bunch of msimatched parts(earlier no hinge plinth hood and trunk)including long wood pieces that appeared to be for under dash cowl and rear valance, butI couldnt figure how they fit. Finally realised these wood parts where from earlier car.
Thanks again
Tom
