TR2/3/3A TR3A Trim ring/Hollywood sighting

Hello, listers, on the way back from a /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif very good LBC event yesterday, I hit a nasty pothole, and lost a trim ring. If anyone has a spare matching trim ring, (or two), please contact me at mrv8q@netscape.net; I'd greatly appreciate it. The have four 2 1/8 strips w/ teeth, to bite onto the wheel.
At the event, Jay Leno showed up w/ 2 British cars. He parked his McLaren F1(!) behind my car, and was very nice to the crowd. His car drew tons of photos, with and without Jay. He hoped someone in the crowd had a spare TR3A gearbox mount, but everyone left theirs at home. He left, and came back for lunch nearby, this time driving an Ariel Atom! I wish I'd have brought my camera; perhaps Bob Muzio took some shots....

Sorry about the trim ring. never, never leave home to go to a show without the camera! That said, I will of course forget mine when I go to the next show. Oh well.
By the way eBay has all sorts of Brit Bits on sale on a regular basis, and the internet is a rich source of parts for TR's. I'm restoring a '60 3A and have bought many a part on the net and eBay.
So good luck finding the trim ring, Tinkerman

Nice that Leno is still down to earth. He shows up at shows down in Orange County sometimes as well. Very nice guy, and totally into his cars.
