TR2/3/3A TR3A steering wheel splines

Hi:

Does anyone know if the splines are different between the adjustable and non-adjustable steering wheel on a TR3A? I am putting a Moto-Lita steering wheel on and the adjustable hub adapter (I have an adjustable steering wheel) puts the wheel too close to me. The seat is back as far as it will go. I thought the non-adjustable hub would be shorter, but I don't know about the splines.

Thanks,

Murray

The splines are different, if I remember correctly the adjustable wheel is smaller than the non adjustable wheel. The collar on the adjustable is longer and the wheel is flat, the non adjustable has a shorter collar and is slightly dished.
