Does anybody know on tr3A what side of the mounting bracket the slave cylinder goes on. Does the slave cylinder flange mount on the back of the bracket facing the rear of the car or the front of the bracket.

'53, here's my slave cylinder when I got it, before I rebuilt it.... I managed to put it back in the same way! HTH!

(Ed McMahon voice): You are correct, sir! The slave cylinder sit behind, and threaded through the hole for it.

One small point. Kevin's 'before' pic appears to show the pushrod connected to the lowest hole (of 3) on the actuating arm. The prescribed set-up for TR3s is the middle hole.

Re: TR3A mounting bracket slave cylinder

Geo has eagle eyes... I never realized this before, but I'm going to keep it as it is. Right now, in the lowest hole, the pushrod is in its most parallel plane w/ the slave cylinder. In the center hole, it would have (slightly) more of an angle. FWIW.
