I was trial fitting the gearbox cover over my HVDA Celica gearbox and it clearly fouls the cover on the right side, near the starter. Anyone else have an issue w this?
I don't mind cutting the cover and reworking that area. But was wondering if others have gad similar experience.

Let me guess, your car is before TS50,000, right?

Then yes, that is a known problem. I had the same issue with my TR6 gearbox, and Herman once mentioned it to me as being a problem with the Toy box.

But I was able to re-profile the tunnel without cutting it (using a BFH) to clear the TR6 box. I'm guessing it should be possible to clear the Toyota that way as well. Herman would know.

Pat, I had the same problem and the BFH was the answer......
