Trying to wrap up upper steering support (behind fascia) and can't identify this part. Maybe rear wing stay or rear bumper related but I only have one.

Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Rear wing support. One with 90 degree bend-rear wing support modified into a possible back scratcher?
 
John: Your too funny! So it got bent and we were fooled into believing it was something else. This is one for the books. We even painted it without knowing it was supposed to be straight. This is the problem with projects that go one for several years.

Frank you may want to trial fit the stay before you bend it. I think the early stays were straight, and the later ones looked just like the one you have.
