As noted pretty simple, I think even the Moss catalog has a sidebar with instructions.
About the only reason for doing this is to fit a modern negative ground sound system or if one is converting to an alternator... but personally I like keeping them + earth -- just part of the charm & positive ground radio are available.
Actually I use a negative ground radio/cassette in my TR3A -- the way the radio mounts up it was fairly easy to isolate the radio chassis. Some think this is dangerous but I've driven for 25 years with this setup and haven't been fried yet.
If you do change ground you will need to either reverse the connections on the ammeter or accept that it reads backwards. If you have a pertronix ignition you will also need to change that. Other stuff like the starter motor and wiper motor don't care.
