Does the 7/8" bar sold by Rimmer Brothers offer better handling for spirited road driving than the 3/4' AADCO bar offers by other vendors?
Are there other options?

I went with the Rimmer Brothers bar because it did not require drilling into the bumper brackets. It came with sway bar brackets that are sandwiched between the frame and the existing bumper brackets. It cam be removed without any modifications to the car.

I have the rad guard plate from moss that has the ARB mounting holes

a triumph spitfire 7/8 ARB

Some rose joints with spacers like this.
And ARB blocks like this
Makes for a cheap and effective kit

I installed a front sway bar many years ago following Bob Shaller's mounting method as described in his book "More BS about TRs". Maybe someone here has access to the book photo and description and can post here?
