TR3A Carpet Installation Question

Hello everyone - I'm new to this forum. I own a 1959 TR3A that is in very nice shape (especially considering the car was restored in 1995). I just purchased new carpet to replace carpet that has faded from the sun throughout the years. The carpet is still in excellent shape - just somewhat faded. My question is - do I need a special tool to install the snaps on the new carpet - and if not - how do I install the snaps?

I have fond memories of my former 59 TR3A - really enjoyed it driving the many two-lane blacktops we have twisting around New England.

I can't help on the snaps tool. It depends on the carpeting you got, and the type of snaps. Maybe start a new thread over in the Triumph forum here, with some photos to guide our suggestions. Didn't the new carpeting come with some instructions on snap installation?
