TR2/3/3A TR3 Windshield Stanchion Guide Plates?

Good point, someone should mention to TRA that their judging standard is lacking in this area. My 2004 copy does not admit the existence of the tenon plates with the bolts.

Those "tenon plates" with the bolts, look to me as though they are really just spacers that were used to fill in the voided area of the second stanchion I showed in my earlier post. I wouldn't call it a true tenon plate. It's obvious that that is how they were originally cast before they were machined to accept the tenon guides of the pre-60,000 cars as shown in the top picture of my post. Once the windscreen is bolted on, I don't thing the tenon-spacers would be apparent, anymore then the differences in the bottom two pics would be apparent.

EDIT: IMHO, any judging concerning this matter is really whether or not the windscreen is dzus or screw-on.
