Hi folks-- I'm ready to install a TR6 fan on my TR3 but still haven't found one of the fan adaptors-- had advice to watch ebay for one or to contact a certain individual (which I did) but no luck so far-- If you know of someone who makes/sells then please lemme know! Thanks

Jayhawk, what adapter do you mean? I installed the yellow TRF fan on my '59TR3A,(with their additional hardware kit), after pulling off my old metal 4-blade fan. Everything lined up fine...

Jayhawk, I guess Carl isn't making the shorter hub anymore. I'm sorry that didn't work out. I believe the radiator would have to be moved about an inch forward to install the yellow fan as there are clearance issues.

I think that Charles Runyan (TRF) said he installed a yellow fan on his TR3A backwards and it fit without moving the radiator. The fan still produces much better air flow mounted backwards.

Backward it may be and maybe I can make a hub sometime. Kevin-- I'll check out TRF to se if their hardware is differnt than other fans. Vicki Brit is in my neighborhood but I'll buy from anybody!

Yes, Jayhawk, VB may well sell a similiar kt. It's just a collection of bolts, washers, rubber bushings and locking clips for said bolts. I added 2 extra washers on each bolt for a skosh more clearance between the fan and the crossbrace.
Have fun!
