Hello I'm visiting from the Triumph Forum. I have a set of Alloy wheels that are 4 bolt and 15" diameter. They will fit the TR3 and TR4. I thought the width was 5.5" but when I measure them the rim appears to be 6" width. Anyone here familiar with putting alloy wheels on a "3"(probably on the "4" if I ever get it finished)? My question is ...What size tires would be ideal. It has been suggested I go with 185/65/15 which would probably work. I was wondering if 195 or even 205's would work? I'd like to get as much rubber on the road as I can without major scraping at full lock and would also like to have the tire fill up the wheel well without looking too low. The car is a fun daily driver that might be used for Pro Solo but is not a Racer. Anyone have any advice or pictures? CK.
