TR2/3/3A TR3 Throttle linkage return spring

Been busy putting my TR3 back together.
I need help finding the mounting location of the throttle linkage return spring.
The linkage arm in the engine compartment has a hole in it, so I think one end of the spring mounts there?
The other end?
Exhaust manifold?
Any help would be appreciated.
My goal is to have the TR3 on the road next month.
Thanks
Lyle

It's on the firewall, below the lever plus slightly forward and to the right. Easy to miss and might be broken/missing. It's just the sheet metal of the firewall has a little raised section, at the corner where the setback for the engine is formed.

Sorry I don't have a photo, but maybe Don will be along, I'm sure he has one.

Thanks for the quick reply Randal.
Will take a look at the firewall area tomorrow, the car is at my shop.
Hopefully it's not broken off.
If I have to make one, a picture would be good.

Yep, the sheet metal tab was bent flat and painted over. Bent it out and cleaned it up.
The throttle returns smoothly now!
Thanks for the help.
