For a TR3, anyone have suggestions about whether to apply gasket sealant to the thermostat housing and the cylinder head? Should the gasket that goes between the housing and the thermostat cover have any or should it go in dry?

Thanks!

I used to use Permatex #3, but switched to Hylomar. Coat both sides of both gaskets. Don't forget the anti-seize on the bolt threads.
