If you're referring to the spring packing pieces that fit underneath and on top of the coil spring, I think no. Didn't lube mine, there's no motion to produce a squeak, and mine is quiet.
I do have an annoying squeak that I finally traced to the bumper overrider support (the chrome tube that goes through the grille) rubbing where it goes through the grille. It took a while to find that one!
