Dunno what it's exactly called, but I'm missing the shorter of the two flat aluminum support pieces that insert into the brackets on the left door of my '60 TR3. It's not the same as pictured in the Moss catalog. Guess I could make one from 1/4" flat aluminum stock but would prefer if someone had one they'd sell.
 
Since you call it aluminum (or aluminium) I would guess that it is not an original -- all the originals I've seen are steel.

My TR3 came with aftermarket side curtains that had Al+++ arms but it is long gone. Oddly I did save one of the arms for many years to use for pressing the pistons back into the calipers - soft yet strong.

If yours are aftermarket (there were many styles, even JCWhitney carried them) you are probably going to have to make it yourself. Fortunately, if the short one is still in place on the other side you have a good pattern.
 
Well I found that sucker in the parts bin. The arm has been torn up beyond use or recognition but I also saved the Dzus fastener from it. I think it is different from the ones on the bonnet - it has a spring & a thin washer that secures it. If you make a new arm from bar stock you'll need one of these.

Anyway, if you want it then it's yours -- just send me a self-sddressed stamped envelope, figure about 2 oz.
