TR2/3/3A tr3 seat slide rail locations

I'm replacing my seats after having them redone and it appears that I got the frame slide rails mixed up. Does the slide rail with the adjusting handle on it go on the inside (near the trans tunnel) or the outside (near the door). It seems that if you switch them on the passenger or drivers seat, they will fit either way, but I'd like to reinstall them the correct way.

On my 59 TR3A the adjusting handle is on the driver's left and the passenger's right.

Hope this helps!

Tom

It's the same on my 1960 TR3A..adjusting handle on the driver's left and the passenger's right.

That is correct. I painted a 1, 2, 3, 4 on all the base rails so I would always put them back in the right places. When it rains and my carpets get wet, I lift out the cushions, remove the seat bolts, the seat pans and the base tracks, then I hang up the carpets and the underpadding to dry. After 16 years, my floor still looks like new or better.
