Picking up on my earlier posting on the TR3 scuttle vent, I finally got this piece done. It was a pita....but it worked out in the end to be very satisfying.

Great pics.

I am still having major problems trying to install mine. When I took it off it worked perfectly but I cant even seem to get it bolted up. I think the problem is that I took it off years ago now and I must be forgetting something.

Do you just bolt the hinge to the cowl? no spacers?

When I try to bolt mine I cant seem to open it because it gets jammed against the cowl .

FWIW -- I had to oval the mounting holes a bit on mine to be able to move it back enough that it would not foul on the rear edge of the bonnet.
