TR2/3/3A TR3..Red light On...Dynamo Connector

I was checking all the connections as you guys recommended and found the thick yellow wire to the dynamo was frayed,loose and barely connected to the female spade connector. I wonder if this has been causing the missing at speed??? You cant see into the heck hole where the back of the dynamo is connected because of the header and carb heat shield so everything has to be done by braille! Anyone have any ideas where I can get the oversized brass female connector that is required? None of the usual auto outlets carry anything like that? Karl

I have the feeling (almost a memory) that I have seen them at Ace hardware while looking for someting else.
 
Boat shop. They usually carry the large spade and it comes with a better alloy and insulation..
