TR2/3/3A TR3 project in SoCal

Is that $ about what they're going for there? Does it "run and drive" as they say in such ads?

What's the deal with the 'extra' ducting in engine compartment? I've never seen that before.

Shifter is missing but other than that it looks pretty good. A lot better than most midwestern cars.

I've seen that ductwork before... possibly the same car on eBay awhile back. Looks like they didn't care for the special TR3 feature: heated footwells.

Momentary excitment when I saw it has a TR3B valve cover and no banjo fittings on the carbs... but examination of the bonnet & boot hinges reveals that is is in fact pre-60000 body pressings so the indication that it is a '58 is probably right.

Having seen the car in person, I think that duct work was a science project that reflects the previous owners personality.

Not sure it actually runs, I'd be a touch skeptical.

She is better in person than the photos make her look.

Worth saving to be sure.

This car was on Ebay not to long ago. I'm not sure what the story was behind the duct work. Personally, I think $7900 sounds rather high for this car, but I haven't seen it in person. I'd look at it very closely before spending that kind of money on it.
