Thanks Tom, I am guessing about 2-3 days on the sand & buff. The job I am really worried about is putting the stone guards and fender beading on. Not real sure which is the best way. Thinking about pop riveting the beading to the fenders and then mounting them to the car. Any advice would sure be appreciated.

There have been several very good threads on installing the beading. I can't point you to them but I suggest you do an advance search on "fender beading" and you will probably come up with it. I do remember that you need to wrap the tabs in tape, electricians tape, so you don't scratch that beautiful paint job. I also seem to remember some no no's about pop rivets. I haven't done mine yet. Also remember that it's definetly a two man job. If you have no luck with the search let me know and I will dig it out of my BCF tips file and send it along.

This has to be one of the most satisying steps of the process. Nice to have someone a step or 2 ahead of me. A couple of questions:
1) what is the color?
2) did you do the panels off the car?
3) Can you secribe how you sequenced the painting? Did you do the tub in sections - ie - underside and inside tub before the outside? Or all at once? Or...
4) When do you do the posting on the stone guards?

Painters tape (2") on each side of the fenders when putting the fender beading on. Stone guards install easier if fender are off but can be done with fenders off. Not that bad a job, just take your time. Two people does make it easier as well but not required.

Hey Luke,
The color is a little deeper yellow than Primrose.
I did the bottom rear wheel wells first, turned the tub over and then did the engine compartment, inside tub and the trunk. Put the body back on the frame, painted the inside of the fenders and doors. Mounted the fenders and doors then did the outside. By the way the interior is tan leather with a tan top.
