Does anyone have any suggestions for a product to be used on old metal fuel lines to keep them from rusting? Replacing them with new ones is always an option, but I am looking for something I can put on the steel to protect it.

In areas where the lines are not visible, you can always us some type of paint or protective coating. Perhaps Eastwood has something suitable. For visible areas where you want the lines to look best you can clean them up and use a high quality clear coat finish. However, it will eventually fail. Long term you might consider SS lines.

Regards, Frank
