TR2/3/3A Tr3 leaning to the right

My 60 Tr3A has developed a slight lean on the right side. Any quick / easy fix say like adding a little spacer for lift?

Are you sure it's a new development? They are supposed to lean slightly to the right (assuming it's a LHD car and you are checking without a driver). The factory actually modified the rear springs so the car would sit level with only a driver.

If it is a new development, I would not suggest a "quick fix". I've had several broken rear springs; which after all are all that hold the rear axle to the rest of the car.

But you could remove the factory spacers from the RH rear spring (which will raise the suspension slightly), or add an extra pad or two to the RH front spring. Neither one is exactly a quick fix though, there is some work involved.

It's been a progression over the years. It's always had a slight lean which would conform your argument. Just in the last couple of years it's seemed to get worse. Now two weekends ago we replaced the tranny and it seems a little better. Figure that one?

I'm actually out working on the flashers. Not working at all. So it will be a while before I can check replies.

When I first got my TR3, in 1983 or so, it leaned a bit. Replacing the beat-to-bits top wishbone bushings (rubber) made a substantial difference. Also got rid of some front end clunks and steering vagueness.

Have you been listening to Rush on the radio?

Well, that won't explain a slight lean.
