Gents, Have a 56 with 1 3/4 SU's. Which K&N filters fit without interfering with the engine bay.

I bought mine for Moss. Have no problems with them. They are installed on a 59 TR3

Don, Thanks but I wasn't specific enough. What model is the largest one can use in the engine bay of a TR3 without rubbing/interfering with the wheel well? I've seen some used where the owners have dented/modified the wheel well for clearance at the front carb and I don't want to do that.

I use the 1-3/4" thick K&Ns model SD4-318(fromTSImportedautomotive.com) without rubbing issues on the front carb. I actually have to angle in the front filter over the front stud to put it on so any thicker would't fit all. PeterK

Thanks Pete, I've seen filters wedged into place and wanted to avoid that (at k&n prices).

make sure you have a good set of motor mounts in place.
