Well I almost have my t3 tool roll done, and I am wondering was the Jack, hub cap remover, and lug wrench and engine crank in another bag or tool for a tr3 ?

Fig. 19. Tools stowed in spare wheel compartment.
The jack and wheel brace are situated in the spare wheel compartment(Fig. 19). The remaining tools are placed in the tool roll and stowed in theluggage compartment. If the vehicle has wire wheels, then the wheel brace(2), combination tool (5) (Fig 20), are omitted from the tool kit and ascrewdriver, tommy bar and copper-faced hammer are included.

I was hoping figure 19 of the Practical hints of the TR3 booklet, 6th edition would show up. Anyway, the pic shows those items stowed to the right of the tire in the spare tire compartment, presumably held in place by the leather belt to the right...

Thanks for jogging my memory about the spare tire layout pic...

BTW, figure 20 shows the complete tool roll...

Not to muddy the waters but every photo of a sidescreen tool kit that I've seen includes a real screwdriver.
Granted, the combination tool had a tapered and squared end that could be used as a screwdriver, but I didn't
think it replaced the wood handled one.
Also, the jack consisted of 2 pieces; the jack and the ratchet wrench. Did the wrench get strapped in with the
jack and the brace (or the hammer)? Or did it go in the tool roll? I couldn't get it to stay with the jack & hammer,
so I wrapped everything (including a spare fan belt) in a towel before "belting" it in. Doing so also eliminated one
more mysterious rattle.
