My late TR3,square backseat, needs all new interior.
I saw ebayer Tim,at 2tall interiors ,advertising leather seats(covers) for ,I think 375.00,which looked pretty nice, and capping service for 200.
Can anybdy comment on overall quality or how these or any other seats or trimming services might compare to Moss or original.
Also were door panels, capping and dash ever leather.

Any general comments or tips before I start to spend a limited amount of money greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Tom

Whatever you do, be sure to get EVERYTHING you want to replace at the same time. If you are doing leather, no two hides are the same and Tim will match everthing for you. If you are doing vinyl, dye lots vary and the color can vay from bolt to bolt.

Tom,

I also got a complete TR3 interior from Tim and I am very happy with it.

Tim did my all my TR3's cappings and doglegs several years ago, and they still looks great! I'm glad to recommend his services...

I understand that Tim does great work if you can afford it. I couldn't went with a Moss interior from LBC spent a little over $2oo carpet about the same around 250 hours and a lot of learning. I still need the seats. I will likely go to Tim great deal on finished seats frame and all $500 for the pair $625 for leather, but to say that I am doing this on a budget is an understatement. Having said that it looks great, and I couldn't have done it without the help of the guys here. You need to search archives for interior subjects.

Howdy Tom,

I too bought a complete Interior Kit from Tim approx. a year ago for my TR3. It really looks great sitting in my closet right now! Waiting for the body work to be completed & all the other stuff before Int. installation.

I sent my cappings to Tim & He recovered them for me at N/C but that was about a yr. ago & did an excellent job.

I surely would recommend him very highly.

Thaks for all the replies. Not ready to sew myself, but may be an option for dash and door panels.
Thanks again

I am about to do interior on my 1960 TR-3A restoration. I have looked at Moss, TRF and Heritage. How do I contact Tim?

Arrow,I saw Tim at 2tall Interiors on ebaymotors. He had leather seats and vinyl, does complete interiors.I got mostly positive fedback, some mention that Moss might be more concours correct. The price seemed very reasonable.

Howdy Folks,

As I had mentioned previously; I bought the entire kit from Tim for my TR3. I talked to him yesterday about the "FOAM" padding for the seats.

He says; I don`t need springs etc etc. He`s asking $100.00 + $20.00 shipping for the "Padding Kit" for 2 seats.

There is a gent in NH that did buy the "Padding Kit" & swears its Great!

Has anyone here bought his "Padding Kit"? Will it hold up in the long term relative to getting eventually crushed or minimized in thickness? All opinions are welcome.

Thanx for Your Opinions,

Russ
