TR2/3/3A TR3 Hub Cap "Globe" Medallion

There appear to be two designs for the TR3 hubcap “globe” medallions. Are they both OE and if so on what model years do they correspond to? One of the designs has larger “Triumph” letters and fewer lines of latitude.

Okay -- looked at the TRA judging guidelines -- they cite TS13046 as the possible change point for going from 'enamel' to 'painted'. They note that is also the change point for disc brakes.

However, they acknowledge that some later cars also got enamel so 'make no deduction for either badge on post TS13046 cars'.

Hope this helps. My 58 came with the center cap style without the Triumph underline and with Australia completely visible - another subtle difference. I don't think that any were painted back then.
