TR2/3/3A TR3 half doors

I found a photo of an interesting after-market item, see photo. These half doors (for lack of a better term) look interesting, but I don't know much about them. They seem to be made of fibreglass and appear to be a racing add-on for better aerodynamics. I expect they clip into the side curtain mounts.
Did somebody make these in larger production volumes or would this have to be home-made? Could I expect less of the wind-in-your-face blast with this on my car? Anyone with first-hand experience?

I don't know anything about the ones in your photo, but I can vouch that these work well:

I don't know of anyone supplying them (ISTR Herman did a run of them, but that was a long time ago); but they're not difficult to make yourself.

Looks like a copy of the drivers half of the metal tonneau cover on the Jabbeke TR2 driven to 125 mph by Ken Richardson.

I don't have any personal experience with them but they're made by a Triumph parts specialist in the UK Called Racetorations.
Here they are about half way down the page and just below them are the support brackets for them.

I have a set (of the Racetoration Screens) that I purchased a few years ago on ebay. My car is not done so I can not say how they work. I do like the look and think making them to accept the side screen glass might be an option. If you would like a tracing I could make one for you. They are very much in the style of of the Le Mans Tr3s cars (they were clear (difficult to see in the photo below)), and were made to reduce drag in those cars. (too bad they could not stop them from throwing radiator blades).

Years ago, I saw a custom-made Morgan tonneau cover that had three zippers: the usual one in the center plus an extra one on each side that (with the tonneau cover fully snapped into place) left the vertical part of the tonneau cover in place (like the half-door shown in the first post) and provided excellent wind protection.

Might be a good option for RF or Moss to offer!
