On a 1961 tr3 does the glove box have two screws that come up from the bottom by hinge with perhaps a clip and screw with the clip on the glove box and the screw on the underside of the dashboard to stabilize the glove box? I cannot seem to find a picture of how the glove box attaches. I see the bracket for the back, but what goes in the front?

The little bracket shown below (post 60K, TR3A) attaches to the fascia steady. You should have a small hole in the lower left back of the glove box. A screw/flat washer through the hole and into the spire nut completes and supports the box at the back.

Be very careful of the sharp sheet metal screws. Ask me how I know! On my car I covered them with those little plastic caps available at Home Despot.

Good luck!

Frank, is that a Dan Masters' (Advance Auto Wire) wiring harness that you have?? It looks just like mine. If so, did you put the Power Block where he recommended...under the dash?? I wanted better access, so I stuck it under the hood.

Hi Art.

No, that isn't my car. This was the only good photo I had for the rear support of the cubby box.

Cheers,

Frank
