If you don't have one already, start by downloading a copy of the workshop manual from

It covers pretty much everything, and of course you can ask here with any specific questions.

Note that you will need a purpose-built spring compressor, not one of the "one size fits none" ones from HF or FLAPS. TRF & Moss sell them at a reasonable price, or it's not too hard to build your own. Here's mine:
