TR2/3/3A TR3 Front Emblem???

Looking to buy a repro front TR3 emblem. Quite a price varience between the big three with VB being the least expensive. Anyone had any experience with that part? If it looks good? I don't want a piece of tin with paint silk screened onto it, just to save a few bucks, but don't want to pay twice the price just to get the alleged name brand. My car is a driver quality car, so perfection is not a real issue. 189.00, 149.00 and 99.00 are the prices shown in the catalogs. Thanks for input.

I got mine from TRF several years ago. They are probably the high priced one. It's a beautiful piece, done in the original Cloisonne process.

Edit: Here's a pic of the emblem, plus the "Triumph" scripts for the front and rear, that came in a kit that TRF had on special.

Several "driver quality" badges show up on E-Bay from time to time. Find a good quality original if you can........restoring in original cloisinne process will be doulble or triple the price of the high price spread.......IF you can find some one to do it ! The price TRF charges is very reasonable for the quality.

Be very careful with the e-bay item's most are not what you think. I ended up getting a nice one from Moss. Don't waste money on e-bay.

Marv, sent you a PM...I think. It doesn't show up in my folder though. My email address is listed in my profile.

Kleykamp,
