I threw this picture in to show the small budget that I am using to restoring the tr3. I basically just put up a blue plastic tarp car port with clear vinyl corrugated roofing to the side of the garage. I made the car port modularly using two large roof panels 8foot by 10foot set them on a ledger fastened to the garage. Then I used, a post and beam system on the wall with 4 six foot 4X4 posts and 2 ten foot 4x4 beams hooked together at the top plate with a 2x4. I am saving my money for parts.

Good job, SP. That's the spirit! Must get cooooooold in there. At least you keep the rain and critters out. How do you get heat in there? I almost feel guilty working in my warm, heated garage. Body-off-frame is the way to go.

Bill- What is more important in Louisiana, heated or cooled garage?

Yes, Bill it does get a little cold, yet when the sun is out it gets kinda warm through the clear plastic roof; the light is great in the day. We mostly get rain around here in the winter. I plan to wheel it around to garage and put the rebuilt engine in after I put the rear axel on. Anyway, I keep my tr3 driver and the running gear I have been rebuilding in the main garage. I ran out of room for my toys and still wanted to play with them.
