TR2/3/3A TR3 Ebay

It is in Aurora, about 30 miles north of Toronto. In the 21 years I have been a member of the Toronto Triumph Club, I have never seen this car. Admittedly, I live 350 miles from there and only get to their big annual event.

The car was originally red by the paint colour in the engine compartment. Why would someone repaint a car if it only has 14,000 miles on it. Why would anyone change all the wiring to non-original if it really only has 14,000 miles on it?

Not for me, but it looks a bit like a Daimler Dart with that work.

I had the same suspicions as you, Don. At first I thought that maybe it had been involved in a front-end accident, but then I noticed that the rear of the bodywork has been modified too! The dashboard trim looks a little odd as well.

Wow. That's pretty [censored] ugly. Reminds me of the Roll Royce front end kits that JC Whitney used to sell for VW bugs.

er..... Definatly not my cup of tea. Somebody out there will love it. but whoever did all that really narrowed down thier perspective buyers.
Ewwwww.

It's a Daimler SP 250....Tony was talking about one on the Other Cars forum, I didn't know what it was so I Googled it....

Like this?

I not sur this is a dart. But my wife really liked this one.

It definitely isn't a Daimler Dart (SP250) but a really uglified Triumph. Why would someone do that?

You're right.....close though...I pulled up two front end pics....

No, that's a TR-3 that somebody grafted some SP-250 body pieces onto...just as ugly there as on the SP-250....but, you hafta love a real SP-250 just for the engine!

It takes all kinds to make a world out there. Who in their right mind would do this. Looks like a kiddie ride you would see in a fair or a Walt Disney movie. Chitty Chitty Yuck Yuck!
