TR2/3/3A TR3 Chrome TRIUMPH emblem fit

I just bought a new rear TRIUMPH emblem to replace my pitted one on my TR3.
The new one is strait as a arrow. The old original has a slight curve
that fits the curve of the car.
I'm looking for help from anyone on the forum that has formed one of
these emblems to fit their triumph.

Use your thigh for a support and bend to fit. I had to do the same thing and it worked perfect. Just go slowly.

Ditto. That is really soft (pot?) metal. Will conform completely once tightened down if you get a good approximation of the curve first.

This is a soft metal and should bend pretty easily.
I would start using the old one for a pattern.

Follow up question...my post 60000 3A didn`t come with the badge on the rear. I am assuming that the badge has the pins that go through the body work and are held on by spire nuts like the front badge.

If this is the case, I should be able to see where this badge attaches. If anyone could post a pic of where the badge should be located, it would be appreciated. Maybe my holes have been hidden by bondo.....

When mine was painted some years ago the guy thoughtfully welded up those holes. Here's the 'before' photo and a couple of shots of a friends' TR3A that I used to drill new ones:

The badge is centered left-to-right just below the lower edge of the boot lid and secured by 3 holes:
