I need to put an alternator in my Vanguard. Its the same engine and pulleys and everything (except the head, manifolds and carb) as the TR2, 3 and 4.

Who has done this conversion and where do you get an alternator with the wide pulley?

You could also buy a wide pulley for a GM alternatorand make your own it for less. Pulleys are available on ebay item 7556749280 for $12.60

Thank you both, my wife wants air conditioning in the Vanguard, so its going to be electric, in the boot.

And then theres the sound system...
